The Ziggo Dome is proud to open Europe’s very first Vinyl Room! This exclusive listening bar offers visitors a unique setting to start and finish their evening in style—surrounded by music, design, and atmosphere. The official opening took place on the 9th of November 2025 during Lady Gaga’s concert, where world-renowned DJ Hardwell symbolically played the first record, thus officially opening the Vinyl Room. The evening was hosted by radio DJ Gerard Ekdom.
Design and CollaborationBased on the concept by Live Nation’s Global Design & Development, Blueprint, the internationally acclaimed architectural firm Blacksheep designed the Vinyl Room down to the finest detail. The sophisticated execution was brought to life by Kroeze Interieurbouw, who realised the design with top-quality materials and craftsmanship.
Japanese Inspiration, Amsterdam AmbienceThe inspiration for the Vinyl Room comes from the iconic Japanese listening bars, intimate spaces where music takes centre stage and every detail contributes to the perfect listening experience. This influence is reflected in the warm interior and the rich vinyl collection. The space breathes the warmth and nostalgia of vinyl, with a design that invites relaxation. Visitors can enjoy carefully selected vinyl sounds, surprising cocktails, culinary bites in an intimate atmosphere. It’s the ideal spot for pre- or post-concert drinks at the Ziggo Dome.
“The Vinyl Room is a tribute to the musical experience itself,” says Birgitte de Winter, Commercial Director of Ziggo Dome. “We wanted to create a space where both our Ziggo Dome Business Club Members and regular concert-goers can further enrich their concert experience. In the Vinyl Room, nostalgia, hospitality, and atmosphere come together. The fact that we could open this space together with Hardwell makes it extra special.”
